Summary:To provide a rotor having a configuration in which balance can be easily corrected, a motor, and a method for manufacturing the rotor.SOLUTION: After balance of a rotor 10 is measured, a balance correction step of providing a first end plate 11 with a first recess portion 115 for balance correction is executed based on a balance measurement result. In the balance correction step, in a state where a rotation center axis line L510 of a cutting tool 510 such as an end mill having a blade on an outer peripheral surface thereof is set in parallel to a first end surface 114 of the first end plate 11, a cutting tool 510 and a rotor 10 are moved relatively to each other in a direction orthogonal to the rotation center axis line L510, and the first recess portion 115 is provided in a region surrounded by a chord of a circle constituting the outer peripheral edge of the first end plate 11 and an arc of an angular range corresponding to the chord.
