Summary:To suppress harmonic components contained in a combined output power of multiple single-phase inverters and simplify current vibration and noise control.SOLUTION: There is provided a multi-coil AC motor drive system in which Q units (q: an even number≥2) of motors having m groups (m: a natural number) of n-phase (n: an integer≥4) windings are connected, and the AC output side of (m×n) single-phase inverters is connected to the windings, and an on/off signal is generated by PWM control to enable operation of part of the entire electric motors. When one group is composed of q groups obtained by selecting one group from the windings of m groups of each motor and m sets are generated from (m×q) groups for all electric motors, it is configured such that the carrier phase of n units of single-phase inverters feeding the n-phase windings that make up one group of electric motors in each set and the carrier phase of n units of single-phase inverters feeding the n-phase windings that make up a group of other electric motors in the same set have a difference of an integer multiple (p: a natural number) of 180 deg/(q×m×p) and the values are different from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】複数台の単相インバータの合成出力電力に含まれる高調波成分を抑制して、電流振動・騒音対策を簡略化する。【解決手段】n相(n:4以上の整数)の巻線をm群(m:自然数)有するq台(q:2以上の偶数)の電動機を連結し、前記巻線に(m×n)台の単相インバータの交流出力側を接続すると共にPWM制御によりオン/オフ信号を生成し、全電動機のうち一部を運転可能とした多巻線交流電動機駆動システムにおいて、各電動機のm群の巻線から一つの群を選択して得たq個の群により一つの組を構成して全電動機分の(m×q)個の群からm個の組を生成し、各組内の一電動機の一群を構成するn相の巻線に給電するn台の単相インバータの搬送波位相と、同一組内の他の電動機の一群を構成するn相の巻線に給電するn台の単相インバータの搬送波位相とを、180deg/(q×m×p)の整数倍(p:自然数)の差を有し、かつ互いに異なる値に設定する。【選択図】図2
