Summary:To provide a rotary electric machine with excellent productivity, which can suppress vibration of a frame and a bearing.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises: a stator 2; a rotor 1 which is arranged on a radial inside of the stator 2 and comprises a rotary shaft 10; a bearing 16 for supporting the rotary shaft 10; an intermediate frame 15 for supporting the stator 2; and a stator frame 8 for supporting the bearing 16 and the intermediate frame 15. The stator frame 8 comprises pedestals 83 at both ends in a width direction of a bottom. The pedestals 83 comprise upper faces 83a positioned above a bottom face of the stator frame 8.
