Summary:To provide a control device capable of preventing vehicle control during switchover transition between power transmission paths from being complicated in a vehicular power transmission device mounted with a first power transmission path and a second power transmission path juxtaposed to each other.SOLUTION: When a mode switchover clutch S1 is already in a one-way mode during switchover transition of power transmission paths PT between a first power transmission path PT1 and a second power transmission path PT2, a vehicular power transmission device causes the mode switchover clutch S1 to function as a one-way clutch in a manner that automatically switches connection and disconnection of the first power transition path PT1 at an appropriate timing and thereby curbing a shock during the switchover transition. Also, the vehicular power transmission device allows a switchover of the power transmission paths PT to be performed only by controlling torque capacity of a belt traveling clutch C2 and thereby preventing control during the switchover transition from being complicated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】第1動力伝達経路と第2動力伝達経路とを並列に備える車両用動力伝達装置において、動力伝達経路の切替過渡期の制御の複雑化を抑制できる制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】第1動力伝達経路PT1と第2動力伝達経路PT2との間で動力伝達経路PTを切り替える切替過渡期において、モード切替クラッチS1がワンウェイモードに切り替えられていると、モード切替クラッチS1がワンウェイクラッチとして機能するため、切替過渡期における第1動力伝達経路PT1の断接が、モード切替クラッチS1によって適切なタイミングで自動で切り替えられ、切替過渡期に発生するショックが抑制される。また、動力伝達経路PTの切替が、ベルト走行用クラッチC2のトルク容量を制御するだけで済むため、切替過渡期における制御の複雑化を抑制することができる。【選択図】図1
