To provide a resin composition that is preferably used as a slide member of a coating (laminating) material of various molded articles and excellent in abrasion resistance, self-lubricating ability, flexibility, and moldability, and hardly causes an abnormal sound even in sliding in the presence of sand and dust, and to provide a molded article obtainable from the resin composition.SOLUTION: A resin composition (E) includes a polyethylene resin (C) containing 5-25 pts.mass of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (A) satisfying a requirement (a-1) and 95-75 pts.mass of low molecular weight or high molecular weight polyethylene (B) satisfying requirements (b-1) and (b-2), thermoplastic elastomer (D), and organopolysiloxane. (a-1): intrinsic viscosity [η] of 10-40 dl/g; (b-1): intrinsic viscosity [η] of 0.1-5 dl/g; (b-2): density of 915-985 kg/m.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】各種成形体の被覆（積層）材の摺動部材として好適に用いることができる、耐摩耗性、自己潤滑性、柔軟性及び成形性に優れ、砂やダストが存在する摺動においても異音が発生し難い樹脂組成物並びに該樹脂組成物から得られる成形体を提供すること。【解決手段】要件（ａ−１）を満たす超高分子量ポリエチレン（Ａ）５〜２５質量部と、要件（ｂ−１）および（ｂ−２）を満たす低分子量ないし高分子量ポリエチレン（Ｂ）９５〜７５質量部とを含むポリエチレン樹脂（Ｃ）、熱可塑性エラストマー（Ｄ）およびオルガノポリシロキサンを含有する樹脂組成物（Ｅ）：（ａ−１）極限粘度［η］１０〜４０ｄｌ／ｇ；（ｂ−１）極限粘度［η］０．１〜５ｄｌ／ｇ；（ｂ−２）密度９１５〜９８５ｋｇ／ｍ3である。【選択図】なし
