To provide an evasion composition for pests, in particular, for mites, that has an excellent evasion effect to pests, in particular, mites, has high safety, has appropriate residual property of a pest evasion component that is an effective component, and can be used as an aqueous composition, and a pest evasion method of a fabric product therewith.SOLUTION: A pest evasion composition of the present invention includes: a pest evasion component; a polyoxyalkylene derivative having an aromatic ring; a cationic surfactant having an aromatic ring; and a solvent, in which as the pest evasion component, a compound having aromatic groups at both ends is selected, as the polyoxyalkylene derivative, what has a HLB value of 12 to 13 is selected, a content of the pest evasion component is set to 0.4 mass% or larger, a content of the polyoxyalkylene derivative is set to 2 to 3 times the pest evasion component, and a blending ratio of the cationic surfactant and the polyoxyalkylene derivative is set to 1:2 to 1:6, by mass ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】害虫、特にダニ類に対して優れた忌避効果を有するとともに、高い安全性と、有効成分である害虫忌避成分の適度な残存性を有し、かつ水系の組成物として使用可能な、害虫、特にダニ類用の忌避組成物およびこれを用いた繊維製品の害虫忌避方法の提供を目的とする。【解決手段】この発明の害虫忌避組成物は、害虫忌避成分と、芳香環を有するポリオキシアルキレン誘導体と、芳香環を有するカチオン性界面活性剤と、溶媒とを含有するもので、前記害虫忌避成分として、両末端に芳香族基を有する化合物を選択し、前記ポリオキシアルキレン誘導体として、そのＨＬＢ値が１２〜１３であるものを選択し、前記害虫忌避成分の含有量を、０．４質量％以上とし、前記ポリオキシアルキレン誘導体の含有量を、前記害虫忌避成分に対して、２〜３倍とし、前記カチオン性界面活性剤とポリオキシアルキレン誘導体の配合比を、質量比で、１：２〜１：６としたものである。【選択図】なし
