Summary:To provide a medical instrument capable of steeply bending the tip of a tubular body.SOLUTION: A tubular body of a catheter includes a main pipe 20, a wire reinforcement layer including a reinforcement wire 21 wound around the main pipe 20, and an outer layer covering the wire reinforcement layer, part of which is formed by covering up to the outer face of the main pipe 20. The wire reinforcement layer includes a first part 23 and a second part 24 on a more distal side than the first part 23 in a length region different from the first part 23 in an axial direction of the tubular body.
