Summary:To provide a wireless communication device and a wireless communication system, capable of accurately determining whether a worker holding the wireless communication device is climbing a wireless base station, and capable of protecting a receiving circuit of the wireless communication device and the wireless base station according to a determination result using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The wireless communication device includes: a first antenna; a second antenna having an amplification degree lower than that of the first antenna and a narrow range of directivity; an amplifier for amplifying a received signal; an attenuator for attenuating the received signal; a first switching unit for switching a signal path between the first antenna and the second antenna; a second switching unit for switching a signal path between the amplifier and the attenuator; an altitude measurement unit for continuously measuring altitude; an acceleration detection unit for detecting vertical acceleration; a power detection unit for detecting power of the received signal; and a control unit for controlling switching in the first and second switching units.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】シンプルな構成を用いて、無線通信装置を保持する作業員が無線基地局を昇っているかどうかを精度良く判断し、判断結果に応じて、無線通信装置及び無線基地局の受信回路を保護することが可能な無線通信装置及び無線通信システムを提供する。【解決手段】第1のアンテナと、前記第1のアンテナに比べて増幅度が低く、且つ、指向性の範囲が狭い第2のアンテナと、受信信号を増幅する増幅器と、前記受信信号を減衰する減衰器と、前記第1のアンテナと前記第2のアンテナとの間で信号経路を切り替える第1の切り替え部と、前記増幅器と前記減衰器との間で信号経路を切り替える第2の切り替え部と、継続して高度を計測する高度計測部と、鉛直方向の加速度を検出する加速度検出部と、前記受信信号の電力を検出する電力検出部と、前記第1及び第2の切り替え部における切り替えを制御する制御部とを備える無線通信装置が提供される。【選択図】図3
