Summary:To prevent memory deterioration in an evacuation area caused by an increase in the number of times of memory-rewriting of an IC card.SOLUTION: An IC card has: means for evacuating and storing original data of a file in an evacuation area of a nonvolatile memory before writing data received from an IC module access device in the file of the nonvolatile memory; and means for writing back the original data stored in the evacuation area to the file.
