Summary:To properly set the ignition timing of an engine which performs SPCCI combustion.SOLUTION: A combustion control device comprises an ignition part (ignition plug 25), measurement parts (sensors SW1 to SW17), and a control part (ECU 10). The control part outputs an ignition signal to the ignition part so that partial self-ignition combustion is performed. The control part has: a target value setting part 10a for setting a target value of a combustion noise index (cplf); an mfb50 estimation part 10b for estimating the most retardant position of an mfb50 when an air-fuel mixture performs partial self-ignition combustion on the basis of a self-ignition model; a cplf estimation part 10c for estimating the cplf at combustion in the most retardant position of the mfb50; a target mfb50 calculation part 10d for calculating the mfb50 of the combustion for satisfying the target value of the cplf on the basis of the target value of the cplf, the estimation value of the cplf, and a relationship between the mfb50 and the cplf; and an ignition timing setting part 10e for setting ignition timing being a target mfb50, and outputting the ignition signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】SPCCI燃焼を行うエンジンの点火時期を適切に設定する。【解決手段】燃焼制御装置は、点火部(点火プラグ25)と、計測部(センサSW1〜SW17)と、制御部(ECU10)と、を備える。制御部は、部分自己着火燃焼が行われるよう、点火部に点火信号を出力する。制御部は、燃焼騒音指標(cplf)の目標値を設定する目標値設定部10aと、自己着火モデルに基づいて、混合気が部分自己着火燃焼を行う場合の、mfb50の最遅角位置を推定するmfb50推定部10bと、mfb50の最遅角位置での燃焼時のcplfを推定するcplf推定部10cと、cplfの目標値、cplfの推定値、及び、mfb50とcplfとの関係、に基づいて、cplfの目標値を満足する燃焼のmfb50を算出する目標mfb50算出部10dと、目標mfb50となる点火時期を設定し、点火信号を出力する点火時期設定部10eと、を有している。【選択図】図8
