To provide an actuation unit of a pull-in device of a sliding door capable of suppressing an occurence of failure in the device.SOLUTION: The unit comprises: a housing 20 mounted in a door frame; an engaging member 21 movably installed in the housing 20, having an engaging protrusion 40 that engages with a hook 11; and an actuation damper 22 for energizing the engaging member 21 in an opening/closing direction of a sliding door 1, towards a first lateral face 40a with which the hook 11 contacts when the sliding door 1 comes to a first position. The housing 20 includes actuation guide grooves 36 for guiding the engaging member 21.
