Summary:To provide a rubber member molding method for smoothly discharging air between a step of a rubber member and a ply material, and a pressing roller used therefor.SOLUTION: A rubber member molding method comprises the steps of: forming a joint portion 12 having a level difference F while winding a rubber member G on a drum 2; winding a ply material P on an outer side in a radial direction of the joint portion 12; and bringing the ply material P into close contact with the level difference F. The joint portion 12 is formed by stacking a winding end Ge of the rubber member G on the outer side in the radial direction of the rubber member G wound on the drum 2.
