To provide the furnace cover washing device and the washing method of the furnace cover, that enable efficient washing of the furnace cover of a coke oven.SOLUTION: The furnace cover washing device 100 comprises a liquid injection part 20 that ejects a washing liquid onto a part to be washed of the furnace cover 80 of the coke oven, and the liquid injection part 20 has a single injection nozzle. The injection nozzle is rotated by pressure of a liquid about another axis inclined in a range of 10° or more to 20° or less with respect to an axis of the liquid injection part 20 within the range of a tip inner diameter of 1 mm or more to 2 mm or less.
