To provide an aqueous ink for inkjet printing that can obtain a printed matter excellent in discharge stability and excellent in image sharpness and to provide an inkjet printing method using the aqueous ink.SOLUTION: [1] The aqueous ink for inkjet printing is an aqueous ink for inkjet printing on a low-liquid absorbing printing medium and contains a pigment, a polymer dispersant, a water-soluble organic solvent and water in which the water-soluble organic solvent includes (S1) a triethylene glycol monobutyl ether and (S2) one or more kinds of solvents selected from a 4-6C alkanediol, 1,3-propanediol and a cyclic amide compound; and the content of the solvent (S1) in the water-soluble organic solvent is 55 to 95 mass%, and [2] the inkjet printing method comprises printing on a low-liquid absorbing printing medium by using the ink described in the [1].SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】吐出安定性に優れ、画像鮮明性に優れた印刷物を得ることができるインクジェット印刷用水系インク、及びそれを用いるインクジェット印刷方法を提供する。【解決手段】［１］低吸液性印刷媒体へのインクジェット印刷用水系インクであって、顔料、ポリマー分散剤、水溶性有機溶媒、及び水を含有し、該水溶性有機溶媒が、トリエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテル（Ｓ１）と、炭素数４〜６のアルカンジオール、１，３−プロパンジオール、及び環状アミド化合物から選ばれる１種以上の溶媒（Ｓ２）とを含み、該水溶性有機溶媒中の溶媒（Ｓ１）の含有量が５５〜９５質量％である、インクジェット印刷用水系インク、及び［２］前記［１］に記載のインクを用いて低吸液性印刷媒体に印刷するインクジェット印刷方法である。【選択図】なし
