To provide an article sales registration device capable of facilitates operations to set and register an unset article which is not set in an article master yet.SOLUTION: An article sales registration device has: unset article registration means (steps ST1-3, 4, etc.) which registers an unset article, having not been registered in an article master 110, as a sale of a specific department (for example, a fruit and vegetable department) that the unset article belongs to; and temporarily set article setting means (step ST1-5 etc.) which sets the unset article as a temporarily set article in a state in which articles can be registered while displaying operators (temporary setting screen G2) on a touch panel 13.
