To remove a controller box from an upper part of a housing, to reduce the height of the housing and simplify the ceiling part of the housing.SOLUTION: A gas meter comprises: a measurement unit (10) that outputs a measurement signal indicating a gas flow rate; a metering display unit (6) that displays a metering value of the gas flow rate; a casing (4) comprising the measurement unit and the metering display unit; and a controller (8) that is installed inside the housing, and receives the measurement signal and generates a metering signal for displaying the metering value on the metering display unit, which can reduce the height of the housing and simplify the ceiling part of the housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】筐体上部からコントローラボックスを除き、筐体の低背化とともに筐体天井部のシンプル化を図る。【解決手段】ガス流量を表す計測信号を出力する計測部（１０）と、ガス流量の計量値を表示する計量表示部（６）と、前記計測部および前記計量表示部を備える筐体（４）と、前記筐体の内部に設置され、前記計測信号を受け前記計量表示部に計量値を表示させるための計量信号を生成するコントローラ（８）とを備えるので、筐体の低背化とともに筐体天井部のシンプル化を図ることができる。【選択図】図１
