To provide a method of accurately measuring the temperature of a glass article using a radiation thermometer.SOLUTION: The temperature measurement method includes: a process of determining an emittance of a glass article GR on the basis of the water vapor content in a space having the glass article; and a process of measuring the temperature of the glass article with a radiation thermometer 12 on the basis of the determined emittance.
