To provide a drain valve device that can reduce the instantaneous flow rate during drainage while standardizing a drain valve body.SOLUTION: A drain valve device according to an embodiment comprises a drain valve body and a body portion. The drain valve body opens and closes a drain port of a washing water tank that stores washing water. The body portion comprises a valve seat on which the drain valve body sits, a drain cylinder located downstream of the valve seat and inserted into the drain port, and a diameter reducing part whose diameter is reduced from the upstream side to the downstream side while connecting the drain cylinder and the valve seat.
