Summary:To provide an electric power conversion system which can be miniaturized.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion system 1 is provided with: a negative-electrode side capacitor which is connected to an electric power source on a negative-electrode side thereof; and an insulating substrate 4 on which a power semiconductor device 5 is mounted. The insulating substrate 4 is provided with: a positive-electrode side metal layer 4b which is formed on one surface and electrically connected to the power semiconductor device 5; and an earth side metal layer 4c which is formed in a position corresponding to the positive-electrode side metal layer 4b on the other surface and electrically connected to a ground member.
