Summary:To provide a hydrogen station operation method capable of adjusting the pressure in a storage tank at a level suitable for replenishing liquid hydrogen while suppressing waste of hydrogen.SOLUTION: An operation method of the present invention is a method for replenishing liquid hydrogen in a storage tank of a hydrogen station equipped with the storage tank, a gasification channel for gasifying at least part of liquid hydrogen flowing out of the storage tank with a heat exchanger and returning it to the storage tank, and a gas sending-out channel for sending out the gasified hydrogen in the storage tank to a channel between a vaporizer and a compressor, or inside the vaporizer. When a residual amount of the liquid hydrogen in the storage tank becomes a first threshold or less, an amount of the liquid hydrogen flowing in the gasification channel is reduced by a valve arranged in the gasification channel, a gasification amount of the liquid hydrogen in the storage tank is reduced, and an amount of hydrogen gas sent out from the storage tank through the gas sending-out channel is increased by a valve arranged in the gas sending-out channel so as to lower the pressure in the storage tank, thereby executing an operation with suction pressure of the compressor lowered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】水素のムダを抑えつつ貯槽内を液体水素の補充に適した圧力に調整することが可能な水素ステーションの運用方法を提供する。【解決手段】この運用方法は、貯槽と、貯槽から流出した液体水素の少なくとも一部を熱交換器でガス化して貯槽に戻すガス化経路と、貯槽内のガス化した水素を気化器と圧縮機との間の経路、または、気化器内に送出するためのガス送出経路と、を備えた水素ステーションにおいて、貯槽に液体水素を補充する方法であり、貯槽内の液体水素の残量が第1閾値以下になったときに、ガス化経路に配置された弁によってガス化経路を流れる液体水素の量を減少させ、貯槽内における液体水素のガス化量を減少させさらに、ガス送出経路に配置された弁によって貯槽からガス送出経路を通じて送出される水素ガスの量を増加させることによって貯槽内の圧力を下げることにより、圧縮機の吸込圧力を下げた運転を行う。【選択図】図1
