To provide a cover member formed integrally of weft knitted fabrics, which has an irregularity part that can follow up irregularities of a chair and the like, which allows manufacturing efficiency to be improved and wrinkles to be suppressed.SOLUTION: A cover member 1 covers an interior material C such as a chair C' having irregularities D. The cover member 1 is formed integrally of weft knitted fabrics and has an irregularity part 2 that can expand and contract, generate force in a contracting direction thereof when expanding and follow up the irregularities D of the interior material C. For the cover member 1, the irregularity part 2 may be formed of turning knitting, and the turning knitting may be provided at a plurality of places with a prescribed interval left and dispersively and may be adhered to the interior material C using a hook-and-loop fastener 3. Or, the cover member 1 can cover the interior material C, and therefore the cover member 1 may have a vertical exposure-length different portion 11 whose vertical exposure length R1 differs depending on horizontal positions and a lateral exposure-length different portion 12 whose lateral exposure length R2 differs depending on vertical positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】緯編地で一体形成されたカバー部材が、椅子等の凹凸に追従可能な凹凸部を有する等して、「製造効率の向上」と「皺の抑制」などを実現する。【解決手段】凹凸Ｄを有した椅子Ｃ'等のインテリア材Ｃを覆うカバー部材１である。カバー部材１は、緯編地で一体形成され、伸縮可能で且つ伸長時に収縮する向きに力が生じ、インテリア材Ｃの凹凸Ｄに追従可能な凹凸部２を有している。カバー部材１は、凹凸部２が引返し編によって形成されたり、引返し編が所定の距離をあけ且つ分散して複数個所に設けられたり、インテリア材Ｃに面ファスナ３を用いて付着されている等でも良い。又、インテリア材Ｃを覆うカバー部材１とも言え、カバー部材１は、縦露出長さＲ１が水平位置によって異なる縦露出長相異部分１１や、横露出長さＲ２が鉛直位置によって異なる横露出長相異部分１２を有している等であっても良い。【選択図】図１
