Summary: | To provide a treatment method capable of decreasing an amount of a coagulant to be used and of making the property of effluent removed of humus a mild one, when treating muddy water that contains humus.SOLUTION: Calcium ions are fed into muddy water containing humus while controlling pH of the muddy water to 9.5-12.8. The calcium ions fed are bonded, in the pH range, with functional groups (especially carboxyl groups) abundantly present in humus components, and performs a function of preventing the functional groups from reacting with other chemical species. As a result, the amount of a coagulant to be used can be decreased subsequently when solid/liquid separation means is used.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】腐植質を含む泥水を処理する場合において、凝集剤の使用量を低減することができ、且つ、腐植質を取り除いた後の排水の性状が穏やかなものとなり得る処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】腐植質を含む泥水にカルシウムイオンを供給するとともに前記泥水のpHを9.5〜12.8に調整する。供給したカルシウムイオンは、腐植質成分に多く存在する官能基(特にカルボキシル基)に当該pH域において結合して、当該官能基が他の化学種と反応することを抑制する働きをする。その結果、後に固液分離手段を講じる場面において、用いる凝集剤の使用量が少なく済む。【選択図】なし |
