Summary:To provide an electric drive device and an electric power steering device, in which a temperature rise of a magnetic sensor is suppressed.SOLUTION: The electric drive device includes: an electric motor; an electronic control unit including a magnet provided at an end portion on an anti-load side of a shaft for driving and controlling the electric motor and a circuit board arranged on an extension line in an axial direction of the shaft on the anti-load side of the shaft; a first coil wire connecting a first coil group of the electric motor and the circuit board; and a second coil wiring for connecting a second coil group of the electric motor and the circuit board.
