Summary:To achieve control with reduced motor phase current in a motor controller in a power factor control (phase difference control of voltage and current) system and an air conditioner having the motor controller.SOLUTION: A motor controller 16 comprises a target phase difference setting section 30 for outputting a target phase difference to a phase difference control section 22. The target phase difference setting section 30 comprises: a torque calculation section 21 for detecting a torque value of a motor 7a; and a phase difference extraction section 32 for extracting a minimum current target phase difference which is experimentally obtained and with which motor phase current of the motor 7a becomes minimum at every torque value on the basis of the calculated operation torque value to be outputted. Even if the torque value of a compressor 7 variously changes in accordance with a state of a refrigerant load, control with reduced motor phase current can be performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】力率制御(電圧・電流の位相差制御)方式のモータ制御装置及びこれを備えた空気調和機において、モータ相電流を低減させた制御を行うこと目的とする。【解決手段】モータ制御装置16は、位相差制御部22へ目標位相差を出力する目標位相差設定部30を備えている。そして、目標位相差設定部30は、モータ7aのトルクの値を検出するトルク算出部21と、予め実験的に求められ、トルクの値毎にモータ7aのモータ相電流が最小となる最小電流目標位相差を、算出された運転トルクの値に基づいて抽出して出力する位相差抽出部32とを備えている。このため、圧縮機7のトルクの値が冷媒負荷の状態によって種々に変化した場合であっても、モータ相電流を低減させた制御を行うことができる。【選択図】図1
