Summary:To make effective use of a regenerative electric power.SOLUTION: A location information providing system 9 provides a plurality of vehicles with location information. Each of the plurality of vehicles runs by consuming an electric power stored in a battery 110 and collects a regenerative electric power into the battery 110. The location information providing system 9 comprises: a communication device 320 for obtaining SOC of the battery 110 of each of the plurality of vehicles; and an arithmetic unit 300 for generating location information in order to provide it to the plurality of vehicles. The arithmetic unit 300 performs matching between a vehicle 1 going down a gradient and a vehicle 2 going up the gradient based on the SOC of the battery 110 of each of the vehicles 1 and 2, and generates the location information about the confluence point of the vehicles 1 and 2 for providing an electric power from the vehicle 1 to the vehicle 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】回生電力を有効活用する。【解決手段】位置情報提供システム9は、複数の車両に位置情報を提供する。複数の車両の各々は、バッテリ110に蓄えられた電力を消費して走行するとともに、バッテリ110に回生電力を回収するように構成される。位置情報提供システム9は、複数の車両の各々のバッテリ110のSOCを取得する通信装置320と、複数の車両に提供するための位置情報を生成する演算装置300とを備える。演算装置300は、勾配を下る車両1と上記勾配を上る車両2とのマッチングを車両1,2の各々のバッテリ110のSOCに基づいて行い、車両1から車両2への電力供給を行うための車両1と車両2との合流地点の位置情報を生成する。【選択図】図6
