Summary:To provide a cooling tower filler that can integrate a filler sheet without using an adhesive, prevents the occurrence of problems relating to the adhesive, and can safely and efficiently perform manufacturing work.SOLUTION: Regarding a plurality of filler sheets configuring a filler, a first sheet 12 and a second sheet 13 provided with a projecting portion and a receiving portion are used. While the plurality of first sheets and the second sheets are alternately overlapped to manufacture the filler, the adjacent first sheet 12 and second sheet 13 can be coupled by pressing the projecting portion in the receiving portion, and an end pattern portion in which recessions and projections are repeated is formed at two end side portions of the first sheet and the second sheet. While the plurality of first sheets and second sheets are alternately overlapped, the end pattern portions of the adjacent two sheets are made to abut on each other at plural positions, and are welded at every abutting part at a predetermined interval, thereby integrating all filler sheets. Therefore, an adhesive is not necessary to be used during filler manufacturing work, and thus safety can be ensured, and a manufacturing cost can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】 接着剤を用いずに充填材シートを一体化可能として、接着剤に関わる諸問題の発生を防止し、製造作業を安全且つ効率よく行える冷却塔用充填材を提供する。【解決手段】 充填材を構成する複数の充填材シートについて、突起部と受け部を設けた第一シート12と第二シート13を用いるようにし、第一シートと第二シートを交互に複数重ねて充填材を製造する中、隣り合う第一シート12と第二シート13が突起部を受け部に圧入させることで連結可能とし、且つ、第一シートと第二シートの二つの端辺部に凹凸が繰り返される端パターン部を形成し、第一シート及び第二シートが交互に複数重ねられた状態で、隣合う二つのシートの端パターン部同士を複数箇所で当接させ、所定間隔ごとの当接部分で溶着させて、全ての充填材シートを一体化することから、充填材製造作業に際して接着剤を用いずに済み、安全を確保できると共に、製造コストを抑えられる。【選択図】 図5
