Summary:To improve operability of jam processing of removing a sheet jammed near a connection section between a conveying section and a movable loading section in an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: an image forming section that forms an image on a sheet; a conveying section that includes a guide unit rotatably provided and having one guide of guides forming a first conveyance path that guides the sheet, and an ejection roller pair ejecting the sheet guided by the guide; and a loading section that has a connection section removably connected to the guide unit, a loading tray loading the sheet ejected from the conveying section, and a second conveyance path conveying the sheet, and is configured to be movable between a first position at which the loading section can convey the sheet conveyed from the conveying section to the second conveyance path and a second position separated from the first position.
