Summary:To provide a synthetic resinous stop ring installed to an annular groove of a direct-acting bearing including an outer cylinder equipped with the annular groove formed along a circumference on an inner peripheral side surface near end portions on both sides, a spherical holder, and a sphere group stored and held in the spherical holder, the stop ring facilitating installation to the annular groove and enabling the certain fixing of the spherical holder in the inside of the outer cylinder.SOLUTION: A synthetic resinous stop ring is formed in a stepped-shape in a radial direction from an annular outer peripheral side surface so as to include a large-diameter portion to be fitted in the inside of an annular groove formed along a circumference on an inner peripheral side surface near both end portions of the outer cylinder, and a small-diameter portion extending from the large-diameter portion in a thickness direction, and is preferably formed in an elliptical shape .SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】両側の端部近傍の内周側表面に円周に沿って形成された環状溝を備える外筒、球体保持器、そして球体保持器内に収容保持されている球体群を含む直動軸受の環状溝に装着される合成樹脂製の止め輪であって、環状溝への装着が容易であって、かつ外筒内部での球体保持器の確実な固定が可能にする止め輪を提供する。【解決手段】外筒の両端部の近傍の内周側表面に円周に沿って形成された環状溝の内部にはめ込まれる大径部と、この大径部から厚み方向に延びる小径部とを含むように、円環の外周側側面から半径方向に沿って階段状に形成されていて、好ましくは楕円形状にある合成樹脂製の止め輪。【選択図】図4
