Summary: | To solve such a problem that in secondary cooling of a slab by mist spray in a continuous casting process of steel, such a tendency that cooling capacity linearly increases with the increase of the cooling water ejected from a spray nozzle is gradually lost even if the flow rate of the cooling water is increased when the flow rate thereof becomes a certain level or more, and therefore, cooling proportional to increase in the flow rate of the cooling water cannot be expected.SOLUTION: The continuous casting process of steel is provided in which secondary cooling of a slab pulled from a casting mold is performed by jetting mist spray onto the slab. In the continuous casting process of steel, when a flow rate of cooling water ejected from a spray nozzle is 1/2 or more of a maximum flow rate, a flow rate of gas ejected together with cooling water from the spray nozzle, is increased compared to a case in which the flow rate of cooling water ejected from the spray nozzle is less than 1/2 of the maximum flow rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】鋼の連続鋳造方法においてミストスプレーにより鋳片の二次冷却を行う際、スプレーノズルから吐出される冷却水の流量を増加させたとしても、当該流量が一定以上となると冷却能力が徐々に線形に増加しなくなり、冷却水の流量増加と比例した冷却が期待できない。【解決手段】鋳型から引き抜かれた鋳片にミストスプレーを噴射させて前記鋳片の二次冷却を行う、鋼の連続鋳造方法であって、スプレーノズルから吐出される冷却水の流量が最大流量の1/2以上である場合、前記スプレーノズルから吐出される冷却水の流量が最大流量の1/2未満である場合と比較して、前記スプレーノズルから前記冷却水とともに吐出される気体の流量を増加させる、鋼の連続鋳造方法とする。【選択図】図5 |
