Summary:To provide a highly corrosion-resistant spot weldment capable of being manufactured at a low cost without generating conspicuous projections on a front face.SOLUTION: In a spot weldment, overlapped plate materials are connected by a nugget electrified from a pair of electrodes facing each other and pressure-welded from the outside, and formed in the inside. The nugget has a nugget diameter (D) of D≥4√t (t: plate material thickness), and a nugget flatness as a ratio (D/H) of the nugget diameter (D) to a nugget thickness (H) of 3.5-8. There is no projection generated due to evagination of a molten metal, on both outer front face parts of the plate materials after spot welding. When the electrode is a copper alloy, the outer front face has an increment of Cu to a component composition before spot welding is 0.2 mass% or less. Even when the plate material is an aluminum alloy plate or the like, the weldment is excellent in anticorrosion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】表面に目立つ突起等を生じさせることなく、低コストで製造できる高耐食性のスポット溶接物を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のスポット溶接物は、重ね合わせた板材が外側から圧接された一対の対向配置された電極から通電されて内側に形成されたナゲットにより接合されている。このナゲットは、先ず、ナゲット径(D)がD≧4√t(t:板材の厚さ)である。さらに、ナゲット厚さ(H)に対するナゲット径(D)の比率であるナゲット扁平度(D/H)が3.5〜8である。スポット溶接後の板材の両外表面部には、溶融金属の膨出によりできる突起がない。電極が銅合金製の場合でも、その外表面部は、スポット溶接前の成分組成に対してCuの増加分が0.2質量%以下である。板材がアルミニウム合金板等でも、本発明の溶接物は耐食性に優れる。【選択図】図2
