Summary:To simplify the constitution of a thin film type lithium ion secondary battery comprising a solid electrolyte.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery 100 comprises: a battery part 1 formed by laminating, on a substrate 10 having conductivity and serving as a positive electrode collector layer, a ground layer 20, a positive electrode layer 30, a solid electrolyte layer 40, a holding layer 50, a diffusion preventive layer 60, and a negative electrode collector layer 70; and a covering part 2 having insulation properties and covering a side part of the battery part 1.
