Summary:To provide a pigment ink for inkjet recording which is capable of preventing occurrence of non-discharge of the pigment ink from an ink discharge head caused by viscosity rise of the pigment ink during print stop and capable of preventing of printing failure such as non-coloration of an edge part of a printed image formable by the pigment ink firstly discharged when the printing is resumed.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a pigment ink for inkjet recording which is characterized in that, in a production process of a printed matter using an inkjet recording device, a ratio of color optical density of an image formed by a second ink drop when the ink is redischarged after one minute from a time when the inkjet recording device stopped to discharge the ink and the color optical density of an image formed with tenth ink drop is 0.75 to 1.5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明が解決しようとする課題は、印刷停止中に顔料インクの粘度上昇に起因したインク吐出ヘッドからの顔料インクの不吐出発生を防止でき、印刷を再開した際に最初に吐出される顔料インクによって形成されうる印刷画像の端部が着色されない等の印刷不良が生じることを防止可能なインクジェット記録用顔料インクを提供することである。【解決手段】本発明は、インクジェット記録装置を用いた印刷物の製造工程において、前記インクジェット記録装置がインクの吐出を停止した時から1分後に、インクを再び吐出した際の2滴目のインク滴で形成された像の発色濃度と、10滴目のインク滴で形成された像の発色濃度との比率が0.75〜1.5であることを特徴とするインクジェット記録用顔料インクに関するものである。【選択図】図1
