To provide a cosmetic application body improving soft touch on the skin when applying a cosmetic and feel in projection, in an application part whose diameter is expanded and rigidity is enhanced.SOLUTION: A cosmetic application body 8 includes constricted portions 12 and 12 that are narrowed at a center between a shaft end face and an application-part end face with respect to a lateral direction and a front direction, in respective thin-wall parts 11 and 11 formed at mutually-facing positions between an application part 9 and a shaft part 10 constituting the cosmetic application body. Consequently, the thin-wall parts are smoothly deformed in the horizontal direction or a twisting direction by pressure and projection to the application part, with a long axis direction of a shaft part or a long axis of the shaft part used as a center, absorb repulsion and impact, and closely attach the application part to an application surface such as a skin, so as to improve soft skin touch and feel to the application surface such as the skin, thereby quickly and accurately applying a liquid cosmetic thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】径大化して剛性が高まった塗布部における化粧料塗布の際の肌あたりや打突時の感触の向上を図った化粧料塗布体を提供すること。【解決手段】化粧料塗布体８を構成する塗布部９と軸部１０との間に、互いに対向するような位置に形成する各々の薄肉部１１、１１において、側面方向及び正面方向に対して、軸部端面と塗布部端面との中央で幅狭となるくびれ１２、１２を有するので、塗布部への圧力や打突により該薄肉部が軸部の長軸方向、軸部の長軸を中心として左右方向又は捻れ方向に円滑に変形して反発や衝撃を吸収し、塗布部を肌等の塗布面に密着させ肌等の塗布面に対する肌あたりや感触を向上させるので、迅速且つ正確に液状化粧料を塗布できるものとなる。【選択図】図３
