Summary:To improve identification accuracy of a CT image.SOLUTION: A computer determines whether or not a second high absorption area similar to a first high absorption area is included at a prescribed position corresponding to the direction of gravity operating on the body parts in a CT image of each of a plurality of slices including two adjacent slices of the body parts (step 301). The first high absorption area is a high absorption area appearing in a CT image of a specific case. The computer determines that the second high absorption area is a high absorption area caused by a gravitational effect when the second high absorption area is included in the prescribed position inside the CT images of the plurality of slices (step 302).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】CT画像の識別精度を向上させる。【解決手段】コンピュータは、身体部位の隣接する2枚のスライスを含む複数のスライス各々のCT画像内において、身体部位に作用する重力の方向に対応する所定位置に、第1高吸収領域と類似する第2高吸収領域が含まれるか否かを判定する(ステップ301)。第1高吸収領域は、特定の症例のCT画像に現れる高吸収領域である。コンピュータは、複数のスライスのCT画像内の所定位置に第2高吸収領域が含まれている場合、第2高吸収領域が重力効果に起因する高吸収領域であると判定する(ステップ302)。【選択図】図3
