Summary:To provide a system which can be readily purchased by consumers and is capable of helping consumers prevent development of serious diseases such as cancer by measuring defecation gas at home.SOLUTION: A system of the present invention includes a subject-side device 6 installed in a toilet room, and a server 12 communicable with the subject-side device 6. The subject-side device 6 includes: a sulfur-containing gas sensor 26 configured to respond to sulfur-containing gas and generate detection data; and a transceiver 56 for transmitting, to the server 12, measurement data including the detection data of the sulfur-containing gas detected by the sulfur-containing gas sensor 26.
