Summary:To provide a magnetic field generating apparatus for nuclear magnetic resonance having a wider bore space.SOLUTION: A magnetic field generating apparatus for nuclear magnetic resonance comprises: a magnet unit including a plurality of oxide superconductive bulk bodies having a composition obtained by dispersing a REBaCuOphase in a monocrystalline REBaCuOphase and formed into a ring shape; and a storage tank storing the magnet unit inside thereof. The magnet unit includes a laminate obtained by stacking each of the plurality of oxide superconductive bulk bodies coaxially and in a coaxial direction. The storage tank is composed of a cylindrical storage tank inner wall provided along an inner peripheral surface of the magnet unit, and a storage tank outer wall provided along an outer surface of the magnet unit.
