Summary:To properly reduce burden on the neck of an occupant when rear load is input to a vehicle, considering the physique and sex of the occupant.SOLUTION: There are included: a seat S for a vehicle, including a support part for supporting an occupant in the vehicle from a rear side; a state adjusting mechanism provided so as to adjust the state of a part which affects burden on the neck of the occupant when rear load is input to the vehicle, in the supporting part; and an ECU 100 controlling the state adjusting mechanism. The ECU 100 acquires occupant information about the physique and sex of the occupant, and controls the state adjusting mechanism according to the content of the acquired occupant information so as to change the state of the part after being adjusted by the state adjusting mechanism according to the content of the occupant information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】乗員の体格や性別等に考慮して、乗物に対して後方荷重が入力された際に乗員の頸部に掛かる負担を適切に軽減する。【解決手段】車両の乗員を後方から支持する支持部を備えた車両用シートSと、支持部のうち、乗物に対して後方荷重が入力された際に乗員の頸部に掛かる負担に影響を及ぼす部分の状態を調整するために設けられた状態調整機構と、状態調整機構を制御するECU100とを有する。ECU100は、乗員の身体や性別に関する乗員情報を取得すると共に、取得した乗員情報の内容に応じて状態調整機構を制御することで、状態調整機構により調整された後の上記部分の状態を乗員情報の内容に応じて変える。【選択図】図1
