To provide a dryer capable of properly feeding, for example, an object to be dried with a functional component having a beauty treatment function together with drying air blown out from an air outlet.SOLUTION: A dryer includes a body case 1 having a hollow cylindrical air duct 9, a suction port 10 and an air outlet 11 provided at each end of the air duct, and a blower fan 3 provided in the air duct 9. A functional component emitter 80 made of a continuous pore type porous material, which is impregnated with a functional solution containing a functional component is provided to the air duct 9. By this dryer, the functional solution which has been vaporized by exposing the functional component emitter 80 to drying air may be properly fed to an object to be dried together with one blast of converged drying air, which is hardly dispersed, blown out from the air outlet 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】吹出口から吹き出される乾燥風に乗せて例えば美容機能を有する機能成分を乾燥対象へと的確に送給できるドライヤーを提供する。【解決手段】本発明のドライヤーは、中空筒状の導風路９を有する本体ケース１と、導風路のそれぞれの端部に設けられる吸込口１０および吹出口１１と、導風路９内に設けられる送風ファン３とを備える。導風路９に、機能成分を含む機能液が含浸保持された連続気孔型の多孔質体からなる機能成分放出体８０を設ける。こうしたドライヤーによれば、機能成分放出体８０が乾燥風に曝されることで気化された機能液を、吹出口１１から吹き出される分散し難い１つの収束した乾燥風に乗せて乾燥対象へと的確に送給できる。【選択図】図１
