Summary:To provide an image formation device that can reduce an operating force to close a manual tray while ensuring a retaining force of the manual tray.SOLUTION: A device main body 1 has a plurality of support parts. A manual tray 50 is attached to the device main body 1 so as to be opened and closed freely due to rotation at the fulcrum of a lower end 54. The manual tray 50 has a first stop part 60 and a second stop part 70, each of which keeps the manual tray 50 in a closed state when supported by the support part of the device main body 1. The second stop part 70 is arranged closer to the lower end 54 of the manual tray 50 than the first stop part 60. The first stop part 60 has a smaller force necessary to disengage the support part than the second stop part 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】手差しトレイを閉じるときの操作力を従来よりも低減でき、かつ手差しトレイの保持力を確保できる、画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】装置本体１は、複数の支持部を有している。手差しトレイ５０は、下端５４を支点として回動することにより、装置本体１に開閉自在に取り付けられている。手差しトレイ５０は、各々が装置本体１の支持部によって支持されることにより手差しトレイ５０を閉じた状態に保つ、第１止め部６０と第２止め部７０とを有している。第２止め部７０は、第１止め部６０よりも手差しトレイ５０の下端５４の近くに配置されている。第１止め部６０は、支持部との係合を外すために必要とされる力が、第２止め部７０よりも小さい。【選択図】図１
