The developer sent out is received by a peripheral face of a first columnar body 42 having a peripheral face continuous to a peripheral face of the magnetic roll 40, and is guided to an upstream end part of the first developer conveyance path 18. A length of the first columnar body 42 is the length in which the developer present in the upstream end part of the first developer conveyance path 18 is not attracted by magnetism force of the magnetic roll 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】現像剤を運搬する磁気ロールの磁気によって生じる現像剤の滞留をなくす。【解決手段】第１磁気ロール４０によって吸着され、上部に運搬された現像剤は、傾斜した壁面４６ａを有する第１掻き取り壁４６により掻き取られて、第１現像剤搬送路１８に向けて送り出される。送り出された現像剤は、第１磁気ロール４０の周面に続く周面を有する第１円柱体４２の周面に受けられ、第１現像剤搬送路１８の上流端部へと案内される。第１円柱体４２の長さは、第１現像剤搬送路１８の上流端部にある現像剤が第１磁気ロール４０の磁力により吸着されない長さである。【選択図】図３
