To provide a cover member which is attached to a case body equipped with an actuator in an easy and reliable manner to protect the actuator, and to provide an airbag device including the cover member.SOLUTION: A cover member 60 is attached to a case body 14, on which an actuator 41 detachably holding the other end part of a tether coupled to an airbag at one end part is mounted, and covers the actuator 41. The cover member 60 includes a facing part 61 which faces at least a part of the actuator 41 in a direction D of attachment to the case body 14.
