Summary:To improve visibility and crack resistance of a wear indicator even when such a display is provided.SOLUTION: An pneumatic tire includes: a side protector which is provided to a side wall part located outside a tire in a carcass layer bridged between a pair of left and right bead cores, is lifted up outside the tire from the side profile thereof and extends in a tire circumferential direction; a wear indicator hole 10 which is provided on the surface of the side protector and extends from the surface of the side protector to a tire inside to become an indicator of wear in the side protector; and guide recesses 11A, 11B extending from the surface of the side protector to a tire inside. The guide recesses 11A, 11B end in the vicinity of the wear indicator hole 10, and at least a part of the recesses 11A, 11B overlaps the wear indicator hole 10 in a projection view in the tire circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】ウェアインジケータを設けた場合でも、その視認性および耐クラック性を向上させる。【解決手段】空気入りタイヤは、左右一対のビードコア間に架け渡されたカーカス層のタイヤ外側に位置するサイドウォール部に設けられ、タイヤのサイドプロファイルからタイヤ外側に隆起し、かつ、タイヤ周方向に延びるサイドプロテクタと、上記サイドプロテクタの表面に設けられ、上記サイドプロテクタの表面からタイヤ内側に延びて上記サイドプロテクタの摩耗の目安となるウェアインジケータ孔10と、上記サイドプロテクタの表面からタイヤ内側に延びるガイド凹部11A、11Bとを含む。ガイド凹部11A、11Bは、上記ウェアインジケータ孔10の近傍で終端しており、タイヤ周方向の投影視において、上記ガイド凹部11A、11Bの少なくとも一部分が上記ウェアインジケータ孔10と重なる。【選択図】図4
