Summary: | To safely establish a transport cycle including loading, running, unloading, and running related to a plurality of transporters without increasing operator's labor costs and initial investment in infrastructure equipment.SOLUTION: A transport operation control system transmits information on a traveling route and operation of a leading vehicle from the leading vehicle to a next vehicle by vehicle-to-vehicle communication using a vehicle-to-vehicle communication device; controls a travel route and operation of the next vehicle based on the information on the travel route and operation of the leading vehicle; performs a control by defining a position obtained by subtracting a length of one transporter from a final stop position of the leading vehicle as a final stop position of the next vehicle; and controls a traveling device of the next vehicle so as to start re-running when the system detects that the operation of the next vehicle is completed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
