To provide an outer rotor type rotary electric machine which can facilitate attachment of a radiation fin carried in a stator of the outer rotor type rotary electric machine to improve cooling performance.SOLUTION: In an outer rotor type rotary electric machine with a rotor which rotates around a shaft center of a revolving shaft, and a stator which is arranged inside the rotor, it has an L-shaped radiation fin. The radiation fin comprises: a fin heat absorption part in a space to be surrounded by the stator and the revolving shaft; and a fin heat radiation part which connects with the fin heat absorption part extending to a surface outside a stator frame. The heat radiation fin is attached to the surface outside the stator frame. Thus, cooling performance can be improved since attachment of the heat radiation fin is simplified and heat radiation is promoted by the fin heat radiation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】外転型回転電機の固定子内に有する放熱フィンの取付けを容易にし、冷却性能を向上させることができる外転型回転電機を提供する。【解決手段】回転軸の軸中心まわりに回転する回転子と、この回転子の内側に配置される固定子とを備えた外転型回転電機において、Ｌ字状の放熱フィンを有している。この放熱フィンは、固定子と回転軸で囲まれる空間内のフィン吸熱部と、固定子フレームの外部の面まで延伸しているフィン吸熱部と連絡するフィン放熱部を有する。放熱フィンは、固定子フレームの外側の面に取付けられる。これにより、放熱フィンの取付けは簡単になり、かつフィン放熱部により放熱が促進されるので冷却性能を向上させることができる。【選択図】図１
