To provide a method for producing a synthesized quartz powder, thereby producing a synthesized quartz glass powder using a sol-gel production method.SOLUTION: A method for producing a synthesized quartz powder according to the present invention includes the steps of: producing alkali silicate aqueous solution; diluting and cooling the alkali silicate aqueous solution; subjecting the alkali silicate aqueous solution to ion exchange to produce a colloidal silica sol aqueous solution; adding a first additive to the colloidal silica sol aqueous solution to conduct dissociation, elution, and ion exchange; adding a second additive to the colloidal silica sol aqueous solution to grow a grain diameter of a colloidal silica; filtrating, concentrating and adding the colloidal silica sol aqueous solution to produce a wet gel; reducing a water content in the wet gel to produce a dried silica gel; and treating the dried silica gel to produce the synthesized quartz powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ゾル-ゲルの製造法を用いて合成石英ガラス粉を製造するための合成石英粉の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明に係る合成石英粉の製造方法は、ケイ酸アルカリ水溶液を製造するステップと、ケイ酸アルカリ水溶液を希釈および冷却させるステップと、ケイ酸アルカリ水溶液をイオン交換してコロイドシリカゾル水溶液を製造するステップと、コロイドシリカゾル水溶液に第１添加剤を添加して解離溶出およびイオン交換するステップと、コロイドシリカゾル水溶液に第２添加剤を添加してコロイドシリカの粒径を成長させるステップと、コロイドシリカゾル水溶液を濾過、濃縮、添加して湿潤ゲルを製造するステップと、湿潤ゲルに含有された水分を除去して乾燥シリカゲルを製造するステップと、乾燥シリカゲルを加工して合成石英粉を製造するステップとを含む。【選択図】図１
