Summary:To provide a vehicle support device executing vehicle allotment taking into account: restrictions which are applied to vehicle allotment determined for every vehicle base; facility which should be possessed by the determined vehicle for each time and route; the number of passengers which should be deemed capable of being transported by trains; and cost which is required for operation of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle support device 10 includes: a restriction management unit 101 for managing a restriction condition determined for every vehicle base, and facility conditions determined for every time and/or route; a vehicle candidate extraction unit 103 extracting the vehicle candidate allotted to a train by searching for the vehicle capable of allotting to a train in a train operation diagram so that restriction conditions and facility conditions are fulfilled and a given demand number of passengers can be transported; and an influence determination unit 104 for calculating operation cost based on an influence level which is an influence degree given to a switching plan, a crew plan, and a work plan regarding the extracted candidate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】車両基地毎に定められた車両割当に課される制約と、時間や路線毎に定められた車両が有すべき設備と、列車によって運搬可能とすべき旅客の人数と、車両の運用に要するコストとを勘案した車両割当を実施する車両支援装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両支援装置10は、車両基地毎に定められた制約条件と、時間および/または路線毎に定められた設備条件とを管理する制約管理部101と、制約条件および設備条件を満たし、与えられた需要人数の旅客を運搬可能にするように列車ダイヤにおける列車へ割り当てることが可能な車両を探索することで列車に割り当てる車両の候補を抽出する車両候補抽出部103と、抽出された候補について入換計画と乗務員計画と作業計画とに与える影響の度合いである影響度に基づく運用コストを算出する影響判定部104とを有する。【選択図】図3
