Summary:To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive article in which damage to description information caused by peeling upon opening and abrasion after opening is reduced.SOLUTION: In a pressure-sensitive adhesive article 100 having a base material layer 10, a print layer 20 and a transparent adhesive layer 30 in this order, the print layer 20 has a pattern formation area 21 constituted of an inkjet ink, the pattern formation area 21 forms a pattern recognizable by comparison with a background part 22 of the base material layer 10 when the pressure-sensitive adhesive article 100 is observed from the transparent adhesive layer 30 side, and includes an ink existing part 21a in which the ink exists and the transparent adhesive layer 30 contacts the ink and an ink non-existing part 21b in which the ink does not exist and the transparent adhesive layer 30 contacts the base material layer 10.
