Summary:To provide an automobile, which is configured so that a capacitor can discharge even if communication between a control device and a driving part of an inverter having a plurality of switching elements and the driving part is cut off.SOLUTION: A control device, when detecting a collision of a vehicle, transmits a discharge sequence command of a capacitor to a driving part, and the driving part, when receiving the discharge sequence command, executes normal-time discharge sequence for making the capacitor discharge. Further, the control device, when predicting the collision of the vehicle before detecting the collision of the vehicle, transmits a preliminary discharge command of the capacitor to the driving part. Then the driving part, when recognizing that reception of the preliminary discharge command is cut off before receiving the discharge sequence command, executes abnormal-time discharge sequence for making the capacitor discharge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】制御装置と、複数のスイッチング素子および駆動部を有するインバータの駆動部と、の通信が途絶したときでも、コンデンサを放電可能とする。【解決手段】制御装置は、車両の衝突が検知されると、コンデンサの放電シーケンス指令を駆動部に送信し、駆動部は、放電シーケンス指令を受信すると、コンデンサを放電させるための通常時放電シーケンスを実行する。そして、制御装置は、車両の衝突を検知する前に車両の衝突が予見されると、コンデンサの放電予備指令を駆動部に送信し、駆動部は、放電シーケンス指令を受信していないにも拘わらずに放電予備指令の受信の途絶を認識すると、コンデンサを放電させるための異常時放電シーケンスを実行する。【選択図】図4
