Summary:To provide a search support device and a search support method that enable efficient annotation and a highly accurate sentence search using a result of the annotation.SOLUTION: A search support device 100 includes: a storage unit 101 that stores results of part-of-speech analysis of each sentence forming a search target population; and an arithmetic logical unit 104 that specifies, for each sentence, based on a part of speech of each word indicated by a part of speech analysis result, a sentence pattern that can be generated, collates each sentence pattern with each sentence, specifies a plurality of sentence patterns corresponding to a structure of the sentence targeted as a candidate for an annotation rule, applies each of the plurality of candidate sentence patterns described above to the sentence targeted for collating, performs annotation, and generates a plurality of annotated sentences, presents a list of the above-described candidate annotation rules in response to a search request, and extracts and outputs, based on the annotation rule designated by a user in the list, the sentence targeted from the annotated sentences as a search result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】効率的なアノテーションおよび当該アノテーションの結果を用いた精度良好な文章検索を可能とする。【解決手段】検索支援装置100において、検索対象の母集団を成す文章各々の品詞分析結果を記憶する記憶部101と、文章各々に関し、品詞分析結果が示す各単語の品詞に基づき、生成しうる文型パターンを特定し、文章各々に対し文型パターン各々を照合し、当該文章の構成に該当する複数の文型パターンをアノテーションルールの候補として特定し、上述の候補である複数の文型パターン各々を、照合に際して対象となった文章に適用してアノテーションを行い、複数のアノテーション済み文章を生成し、検索要求に対し、上述の候補であるアノテーションルールの一覧を提示し、一覧中でユーザ指定を受けたアノテーションルールに基づき、アノテーション済み文章から該当文章を検索結果として抽出し出力する演算部104を含む構成とする。【選択図】図2
