Summary:To provide a small-sized, simple and inexpensive slush ice generation device.SOLUTION: Provided is a device for generating slush containing frozen and non-frozen liquid at a target ice/liquid ratio and a corresponding target temperature. The device has flow passages (1, 3) for liquid (110) to recirculate therethrough. The flow passage includes a heat exchanger (6) having a refrigerant inlet (106) and a refrigerant outlet (107). The heat exchanger (6) is configured such that a refrigerant (109) flows therethrough at a temperature lower than the target temperature.
